An Evening on The State of Housing in Vermont

The Vermont Bar Foundation, in partnership with the Central Vermont Inns of Court, invites attorneys and members of the legal community to an evening CLE focused on the state of housing in Vermont.

The program will begin with a presentation by Alex Farrell, Vermont Commissioner on Housing, who will provide an overview of Vermont’s current housing landscape.

he panel will feature Miro Weinberger, Executive Chair of Let’s Build Homes; Tim Sampson, Director at DRM; Rachel Batterson, Director of the Housing Discrimination Law Project; and Deanna Hartog, Vermont Poverty Law Fellow. Panelists will share perspectives from private practice, legal aid, and policy advocacy, offering insight into how housing issues intersect with the legal system and impact Vermonters statewide.

Attorneys may receive 1.5 CLE credits for attending this program.

This CLE is designed to inform and engage practitioners on the evolving housing crisis, highlight the role of the legal community in addressing housing instability, and provide time for networking and informal conversation.

The cost of admission covers food and the direct costs of hosting the event. Any additional proceeds will be donated to support the work of the Vermont Bar Foundation. Drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
