Unmet Legal Need in Vermont

“In spite of all of our efforts to increase funding for the Vermont Bar Foundation, there are still many unmet legal needs for those living in poverty in Vermont,” said Vermont Bar Foundation Board Member, the Honorable Denise R. Johnson, Vermont Supreme Court Justice.  “I ask every attorney with an IOLTA account to select an IOLTA institution listed on the Vermont Bar Foundation IOLTA Honor Roll for his or her IOLTA accounts.

“If your IOLTA institution is not an Honor Roll member, please ask them to become a Gold Level Vermont Bar Foundation IOLTA Honor Roll institution,” urged Vermont Bar Foundation President Joe Cahill of Brown, Cahill, Gawne & Miller, P.C..
